Fucking outlook. Lets all sorts of genuine junk mail through to my inbox, and sends a bunch of mail I really want to read to my junk mail folder.

I just happened to check it this evening and found out . . .

EDDIE IZZARD IS COMING TO SEATTLE ON AUG 11-12

Oh yes. I will be returning to my room tomorrow by 7pm (10am PST) to buy tickets. I do not care how much they cost. Nope, I don't.
sonofa$%!@!

So, at 7pm I sign online and attempt to get to the Seattle Rep website. Unsuccessfully, of course. So, after 15-20 minutes of this, I bite the bullet and call. It rings busy half a dozen times. I'm about to hang up but give it one more try.

It rings!

But there are 16 people in front of me.

I don't care. I wait.

Many, many minutes later, a woman picks up. (Meanwhile, I'm trying to get tickets online as well. To no avail.)

She selects me fabulous seats on Saturday night. And then I get the evil AT&T woman: You have 1 minute remaining on your card. So I start talking quickly. After she gets my mailing address, but before she gets my credit card, it cuts out.

Which means I spent 18 minutes, $4.50, and then whatever extra the hotel decides to charge me . . . for nothing.

I am immensely depressed.

I did manage to get tickets online, after 20 more minutes of trying. They're all the way on the left side, row M (so 13th). I should be happy, and I am, but just a little upset that I missed out on better seats.

*sigh*
