cat person
Dec. 20th, 2005 12:47 amjust in case i needed confirmation . . .
mom was getting ready to give the cats (all 3) their night time snacks earlier tonight and hermione wasn't around. so we called her - "hermione! treats!". when she didn't come at the smell of wet food (which is surprising, since you know it's what she wakes me up for back home), we started looking for her.
10 minutes later i was crying. yelling "god dammit cat, where are you?!" and convinced that she'd either a) opened the doors herself and somehow left the house, b) got trapped under something and was hurt, or c) was sick and went to hide (and was just really good at it) as cats are known to do.
i had looked in and under most places at least twice before mom pulled out the flashlight. so then everything got a third look, until i swung it under my sister's bed again. there, way back in the corner behind boxes and such, and enough in the shadows so that without a light you couldn't see her, was my furball. perfectly fine.
apparently i'm rather attached to her.
another reason not to be responsible for little humans ever. i'd spend every minute worried sick about them. i'll stick with cats, thank you.
