Jan. 9th, 2007 09:06 amThe cats have been brutal during the night ever since I got home. Playing and chasing each other across the bed. Hermione batting at my face and running her claws through my hair (which translates to pulling my hair). Maynard squeaking around the bed and occasionally jumping up to bat my foot, or elbow, or whatever might be hanging over the edge.
To top it off, I had terribly restless sleep. I had a very bizarre dream within a dream. I read this section of a horror/fantasy book in my dream then proceeded to dream (in the dream) of having my family and friends involved in the situation. It was full of fear and anxiety. It was also obvious by the position I woke up in - hanging diagonally, nearly off the bed, pillows thrown off, comforter hanging off the other side, one sock missing - that I must have been tossing, turning, and incredibly restless while 'sleeping.'
*sigh*
Meeting with the undergraduates today. Oh. Joy.
