Noticeable lack of surprise: Take Prednisone. Prescription says do not drink alcohol while on Prednisone, may increase risk of stomach bleeding. Go out for drinks anyways. Stomach hurts.

And there's a university seriously considering giving me a PhD. Scary, eh?

My headache and I are temporarily giving up on life, love, and the pursuit of a PhD in exchange for a Lush-ified bath and my bed.


I have consumed water, electrolytes, coffee, advil. Still headache.

A full 7 days later, one of my committee members continues to ignore my emails. We were supposed to (I thought?) meet last week, but he never got back to me. I need him to sign forms and schedule my first exam. Which is supposed to be in 13 days.

I know very little to nothing about the following topics: public opinion and voting behavior, congressional organization, the presidency, pluralism, interest groups, the media . . .

Here's hoping my American questions are on . . . well, courts and social movements.

Yep, bed.
