Last night I had one where I overslept.
When you 'only' have 9 hours, missing one hour is a pretty big deal. I think I woke up at like 9:45 or something and immediately started freaking out. (I should get my questions at 9am.) When I looked at the questions, I had no idea how I was going to answer them.
Oh, and I know presidential candidates have started debating and campaigning and so forth . . . but I just can't get excited about any of them.

Most people would be reading like a fiend at this stage. Consuming large quantities of caffiene, not sleeping, refusing to answer the phone (well, maybe that's a little extreme). But, I sort of withdraw and go into denial. Instead of reading like a fiend, I screw around my apartment, snuggle with the cats, surf the web, go grocery shopping, and so forth.
*shrug*
I guess somewhere in the recesses of my subconscious I actually do believe it will be fine. I won't reorganize the field of American Politics, but I believe I will very likely pass, like so many before me, and move on like the rest of them. Well, on to Public Law, where I no doubt will have to answer some terribly amusing question in 2 weeks like "What is Law?" Fun times.
I can't stop listening to this song for some reason. It's Lucinda Williams, on her new album West, called "Are You Alright?" (Which is probably fairly obvious given the lyrics.) It's not the happiest song, and I don't feel any particular personal connection to it, which is usually what draws me in to a song like this. But, I keep repeating it when I'm in my car.
