And every male in the movie without a tunic of some sort has them too.

I know. And I don't care if they were airbrushed. Still lovely to look at. :)

Really good movie BTW, though if you have a problem with gore in general, you may not like it. Despite being a combat movie with swords a plenty, there really isn't THAT much gore but there are some pretty graphic scenes.

There definitely were some graphic scenes and, while I don't always handle gore well, the movie didn't bother me all that much. Visually, the movie was stunning. Just amazing, I thought. And a really good adaptation of the graphic novel.

As a whole, the film was a bit "eh" for me. I gave up Pogues tickets to see it with some friends...

Definetely stunning visually. I thought it was a really great adaptation of the graphic novel - I'm a fan of Frank Miller's style.

The Pogues are wonderful Irish punk who were playing reunion shows in Boston last weekend.

They're eye catching, but I wonder if they've been airbrushed with makeup to enhance to definition....it's a common trick.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me. I know the main characters did train quite a bit for the movie, so I'm sure they wound up with great abs, but every male in the film had those cut, defined abs. I'd have to assume make-up was used. :)

Lets not forget the queen, she had my attention in every scene she was in. This movie would make any body self concious, everyone was in top shape.

Oh god, definitely. She's absolutely beautiful. And an amazing character.
