I wonder if everything I do I do instead of something I want to do more . . .

In the midst of experimenting with this whole dating thing, I've realized a few things . . .

I am worth someone's time. I am worth more than the occasional "Oh look, I'm free tonight, are you?" text message when it's convenient. In fact, I am worth a spot in someone's schedule. I am worth someone wanting to plan to see me. I am worth the occasional phone call. I am worth someone's attention, even in the company of others. I am worth more than an occasional night of rolling around under the covers.

No matter how bright, witty, geeky, nerdy, adorable, and all around perfect I may think someone is, from now on they shall fall to the bottom of my list of priorities if they can't see all of these things.

And because I'm such a dork, I'm going to save this one in memories, for me to read over and over again when I forget (as I no doubt often will).

You are worth eggless chocolate chip cookies from 3 timezones away :)

Indeed I am! I finished them up this weekend. Yum. ;)

Any chance you'd want to send me the recipe? :)
